2018/ 2019 Committees
The following committees are sponsored by the PTA and run by volunteer parents. There are many opportunities to help during the year.

The Board of Education Liaison attends Board of Education meetings and reports back to the PTA on any relevant issue or events.
Board of Education meetings are open to the public and are usually held on the fourth Monday of each month in the auditorium at RMS at 7 p.m. Check the district website at http://fpks.org/meetingtimes for dates and times.
PTA Membership Coordinator
The Membership committee organizes the annual membership drive which usually takes place during back to school night. This includes sharing information about the PTA and its activities, encouraging volunteers and collecting membership dues.

Teacher Grant Committee
The PTA Board sets aside money each year to award to teachers throughout the district. Letters and applications go to the entire staff asking them to submit proposals for projects that go above and beyond what is normally provided for through the school budget. The program both thanks teachers for all that they do as well as encourages them to try new and exciting things in the classroom. The committee coordinates the process and reviews applications for selection.
